Every product review and buying guide on this site is written and maintained by one person. This page explains who that is and how the content is produced, so you can judge whether it is worth trusting.
Who I am
I am Ismail Hossain, founder of Vape Dubai Shop. I started the shop because buying vapes in the UAE meant either driving between physical stores with inconsistent stock, or ordering online from sellers who could not tell you where their products came from. I wanted to solve both problems: a genuinely deep catalogue, delivered fast, with a straight answer about what you are buying.
I personally select every product the shop carries and deal directly with authorised distributors. Nothing goes on the site because a supplier pushed it.
What I know about
- Disposable vapes — puff ratings and what they mean in real use, flavour quality across brands, which devices actually last their claimed life
- Pod systems and refillable devices — coil compatibility, airflow, battery behaviour, which kits suit someone switching from cigarettes
- E-liquids — salt nicotine versus freebase, strength selection for different smoking histories, PG/VG ratios
- Battery safety — charging practice, when a cell should be retired, why third-party chargers cause problems
- The UAE market specifically — which products are widely counterfeited here, and how grey-market stock differs from distributor stock
How I write these reviews
The reviews on this site are written from hands-on use of devices in our own catalogue, not from manufacturer marketing material or rewritten competitor copy. In practice that means:
- I use the device before writing about it. Claimed puff counts and battery life get tested against normal use rather than repeated from the box.
- I publish the negatives. If a device leaks, if the flavour fades early, if the charging is slow — that goes in the review. A shop that says every product is excellent is not telling you anything useful.
- I do not invent reviews or ratings. This site does not publish fabricated customer testimonials or star ratings. If you see a rating here, it came from a real customer.
- I correct things. Where a specification changes or I get something wrong, the article is updated and the review date changed rather than quietly edited.
What I am not
I am a retailer and a product specialist, not a doctor. Nothing I write is medical advice, and vaping products are not a smoking-cessation treatment. If you have a health condition, or you are considering nicotine and do not currently smoke, speak to a qualified healthcare professional rather than taking my word for anything.
