Uwell Caliburn AK3 review: what you get
The Uwell Caliburn AK3 is a refillable pod kit with a built-in battery. This Uwell Caliburn AK3 review uses only the product listing, because we have not tested the device. The listing notes: Aluminum alloy and PCTG construction.
Because it is refillable, you fill it with your own e-liquid. It is a device and does not come with liquid, so it suits people who want to choose strength and flavour themselves.

Battery and charging
The battery is listed as 520mAh. Charging is listed as Type-C, with a 15-minute fast charge listed.
Charge with a quality cable and do not leave the device charging unattended. Keep it out of heat and direct sun, which matters in Dubai summers. If the casing is damaged, swollen or hot, stop using it.
A 520mAh battery is small, so expect to charge often. The listing mentions a 15-minute fast charge, which suits short top-ups through the day. Use a good Type-C cable and keep the charging port dry and free of lint.
The listing says the device is draw-activated only. It fires when you inhale, so there is no button. Blowing into the mouthpiece is generally not advised on any draw-activated device, because it can push liquid into the wrong place.
Power and performance
The power range is listed as Up to 13W. Draw-activated only.
We cannot confirm flavour, vapour output or battery life without testing, so these points are the maker description, not our findings. Higher power settings generally use liquid and battery faster than lower ones.
Uwell Caliburn AK3 compared with the Uwell Caliburn G2
| Feature | Uwell Caliburn AK3 | Uwell Caliburn G2 |
|---|---|---|
| Battery | 520mAh | 750mAh |
| Power | Up to 13W | Up to 18W |
| Tank or pod | 2ml pod | 2ml pod |
| Display | None listed | None listed |
| Charging | Type-C, with a 15-minute fast charge listed | Type-C |
| Price | AED 120 | AED 100 |
The comparison comes from the two product listings. See the Uwell Caliburn G2 product page for its own details.
Up to 13W is a low power ceiling, and the device has no adjustable range in the listing. Low power generally goes with a tight, mouth-to-lung draw. We have not tested the draw, so treat this as the listing description only.
With no display listed, you cannot read the battery level on the device. Charge it on a routine so it does not run flat when you are out.
Tank, pod and coils
The tank or pod is listed as 2ml pod. The coil detail is: Integrated A3 pods with a meshed 1.0 ohm coil.
Coils wear out with use and cost extra, so check that replacement coils are in stock before you buy. See the pods and coils range for replacements.
The listing describes integrated A3 pods with a meshed 1.0 ohm coil, so the pod and the coil are one part. When the pod is worn, you replace the whole pod. The pod holds 2ml, so fill it to the maker line and no further, and wait a few minutes after filling before you first use it.
See our guide to replacing a coil or pod for the signs of a worn pod.
Display and build
The display is listed as None listed. The listing also notes: Aluminum alloy and PCTG construction.
Build quality, feel in the hand and finish are things we cannot judge from a listing, so we do not rate them here.
E-liquid and UAE rules
This device does not contain nicotine by itself. Strength depends on the e-liquid you choose. The UAE standard UAE.S 5030 sets a limit of 20 mg/ml for nicotine in vaping liquids. Check the current rules on the MoIAT website before you buy.
Browse the e-liquid range for matching liquids. We make no health claims. Nicotine is addictive, and vaping products are for adults aged 21 and over.
Who it suits, price and delivery in Dubai
