Nicotine Pouch Strength Guide: 4mg to 22.5mg Explained

Overview: This nicotine pouch strength guide explains mg per pouch vs mg per gram and compares strengths from 4mg to 22.5mg in our range, with AED 30 cans and Dubai delivery. Adults aged 21 or over only.

Nicotine pouch strength guide: what the numbers mean

This nicotine pouch strength guide explains how to read the strength on a can. Strength is shown in milligrams, and the same product can be shown per pouch or per gram. We use only the figures on our product pages and have not tested the pouches.

Everything here is for adults aged 21 or over, and nicotine is addictive.

Milligrams per pouch vs milligrams per gram

Some cans show nicotine per pouch and some show it per gram of content. These are different numbers. For example, White Fox Double Mint is listed at 12mg per pouch, which is 16mg/g. A pouch weighing 0.75g at 16mg/g gives 12mg.

How to compare two cans

Compare like with like. If one can shows mg per pouch and another shows mg per gram, convert using the pouch weight on the listing before you decide.

Because strengths are shown in two ways, the safest approach is to convert before comparing. For a pouch weighing 0.7g at 16mg/g, the per-pouch figure is about 11.2mg. The pouch weight is on the listing, and the sum is the weight in grams multiplied by the mg/g figure.

Strengths in our range, side by side

The table lists strengths exactly as shown on each product page. All are AED 30 for a can of 20 pouches.

Strengths as listed

Pouch	Strength as listed	Listing note
Velo Bright Spearmint 4mg	4mg per pouch	Mildest Velo strength we stock
Velo Green Spearmint 6mg	6mg per pouch	Moderate
Velo Crispy Peppermint 10mg	10mg per pouch	Medium-strong
White Fox Double Mint 12mg	12mg per pouch (16mg/g)	Standard White Fox tier
Velo Berry Frost 14mg	14mg per pouch	Strongest Velo we stock
White Fox GN Tobacco Black 22.5mg	22.5mg per pouch	Strongest in the White Fox range

Low strengths: 4mg and 6mg

The lowest strength we stock in Velo is listed at 4mg, which the listing calls the mildest in the range. The Velo Green Spearmint 6mg is listed at 6mg and marked as a moderate strength.

A lower strength is the more cautious starting point for anyone new to nicotine, though nobody should start if they do not already use it.

Low strength does not mean no effect. If you do not already use nicotine, do not start. If you do, the lower numbers are the cautious start, and you can move up later. Some people feel lightheaded or sick with a pouch that is too strong for them, and if that happens you should remove it.

Middle strengths: 10mg to 14mg

The Velo Crispy Peppermint 10mg is listed as medium-strong. The White Fox Double Mint 12mg sits at 12mg. The Velo Berry Frost 14mg is listed as the strongest Velo strength we stock and aimed at experienced users.

Why strength is not the whole story

Flavour, pouch size and how long you keep it in all change how a pouch feels. Two cans with the same number can feel different, and we cannot judge that from a listing.

High strengths: above 14mg

Above 14mg, our range includes the White Fox GN Tobacco Black at 22.5mg per pouch, which its listing calls the strongest in that range. Higher strengths are for experienced users only. See the White Fox GN Tobacco Black 22.5mg listing.

Keep cans closed, out of heat, and away from children and pets. Put used pouches in a bin. Do not mix pouches with other nicotine products without thinking about your total intake.

Choosing a strength, plus price and delivery in Dubai

If you already use nicotine, match the strength to your current use and go lower if unsure. Pouch rules are separate from the rules for vapes. Check the current requirements on the Ministry of Health and Prevention website before you buy. Browse the nicotine pouch range.

Delivery is AED 30, free over AED 350, and you pay on delivery. See the Shipping and Delivery Policy. Read our Velo Berry Frost 14mg review for a strong example.
