Closed pods vs refillable pods

Closed-pod devices take pre-filled cartridges. They are convenient, but you are tied to the flavours that brand makes. Refillable pods let you use any compatible e-liquid, which usually costs less per millilitre and gives a wider range of flavours. Check the product page for which type a device uses, because the two are not interchangeable.

How to choose a pod system

Start with the draw style. Compact mouth-to-lung kits have a tighter draw and lower power, while higher-wattage kits give a looser draw and more vapour. Next, look at battery capacity in mAh: a smaller battery needs charging more often. Finally, check which coils and pods the device uses, so you know what you will buy to keep it running. Frequently asked questions

How often will I need to charge a pod system?

It depends on battery capacity and how much you vape. A smaller battery needs charging more often, and larger batteries usually last longer between charges. The capacity is listed on every product page.

Can I use any e-liquid in a refillable pod?

Check the device guidance on PG and VG. Very thick, high-VG liquid can wick poorly in small coils, which causes dry hits and shortens coil life.

What do I need to buy with my first pod system?
