What is the WAKA Nova?

The WAKA Nova is WAKA’s mid-capacity disposable, positioned well below the high-capacity WAKA Blast for a vaper who wants a smaller, lighter device rather than maximum puff count.

How does it work?

The Nova is draw-activated with no buttons, using dual mesh coils to draw e-liquid from its 12ml reservoir, and a simple display that reports remaining battery and e-liquid level.

Battery life and charging

The 850mAh battery recharges over Type-C and is sized to run alongside the 12ml e-liquid capacity for most vapers, so the device typically empties its e-liquid before the battery needs more than an occasional top-up.

How long does 12,000 puffs actually last?

The 12,000-puff figure is WAKA’s headline rating from short, standardised test draws; real-world puffs run longer, so most vapers get fewer than 12,000 literal draws from one Nova. Use the figure to compare devices, not as a promise of exactly 12,000 puffs.

How does it compare to the WAKA Blast?

The WAKA Nova and the WAKA Blast are both from WAKA but sit at very different capacity tiers — the Nova is the smaller, lighter, lower-nicotine option, while the Blast is a larger dual-tank device with a stronger 50mg/ml formulation.

Normalised by cost-per-1,000-puffs, the Blast is the better value per puff, but the Nova’s lower 18mg/ml nicotine and smaller size make it the more comfortable option for lighter or more casual vapers.

Is the WAKA Nova legal and compliant in the UAE?

Vaping has been legal in the UAE since April 2019, and electronic nicotine devices must be certified by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) under the ECAS scheme against UAE.S 5030:2018. The Nova’s 18mg/ml nicotine strength is within the UAE’s 20mg/ml e-liquid cap. Sale is restricted to adults 18 and over under UAE regulations, verified by Emirates ID or passport. As of 1 September 2026, a minimum excise price of AED 1 per ml applies to e-liquid in electronic smoking devices.

How to use the WAKA Nova

Who should buy the WAKA Nova, and who shouldn’t

The WAKA Nova suits a vaper who wants a smaller, lighter disposable with a moderate 18mg nicotine strength and doesn’t need a very high puff count. It’s not the best pick for someone who wants maximum capacity or a stronger 50mg hit — the WAKA Blast covers that end of the range instead.

Where to recycle or dispose of the WAKA Nova in the UAE

The Nova’s lithium battery should never be punctured, crushed or burned. Don’t put it in household waste — use a UAE e-waste or battery drop-off point.

Pros & Cons

What’s the delivery and returns policy? See the Shipping & Delivery Policy and Returns & Refund Policy — damaged, faulty or incorrect items only.
